Our mission is to ensure that the valor of true heroes is respected, while exposing and preventing fraudulent claims of military service, fostering a community built on trust, accountability, and respect for those who have served.
How it works:
To register on our website, individuals must first create a user account. Upon successful registration, users may verify their status as a veteran or active-duty military member through ID.me verification services. Users without an existing ID.me account can establish one directly on the ID.me website. Alternatively, users may opt for manual verification by scheduling a video appointment and submitting their veteran or military identification card, or a state-issued photo ID accompanied by their DD-214 form. At no time will the video appointment be recorded in any manner, nor will copies of documentation supplied by the user be retained by Verified Veterans LLC.
Once your status has been verified, you can refer persons or entities to our directory page in order to verify your status as a veteran.
